1. How This Site Is Intended To Be Used
This website is provided for informational and community convenience purposes. Content may include calendar events, links, teacher favorites, and related school support resources. You are responsible for how you use information posted on the site.
2. Account and Login Data
We support social login through Google and Facebook. We do not store your Google or Facebook password on CCE Family. We store only the minimum account relationship data needed to identify your profile and provider connection, such as provider name, provider user ID, provider email (when provided), and login timestamps.
3. Data We Store
For site security, administration, and account continuity, we may store:
- Account profile data you submit (for example: display name, teacher connection, family profile fields).
- Authentication/session records (login provider, login times, session tokens).
- Technical metadata (IP address, hostname lookup, user agent, and activity timestamps).
4. Cookies
We use cookies for essential site operation, including session continuity, authentication state, and sign-in preference handling. We also use an identity cookie to recognize prior provider relationship context (Google/Facebook/local) for safer login behavior.
Choosing "Only Necessary Cookies" still allows essential operational cookies because they are required for authentication and core site functionality.
5. How Data Is Used
Your data is used to:
- Authenticate and maintain your account session.
- Protect against abuse, suspicious access, and unauthorized use.
- Support site administration, moderation, and troubleshooting.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not publicly publish private account registration fields. Public-facing content is limited to information intentionally published for community access.
7. Data Deletion Requests
Social login provider data deletion requests are handled through our provider callback workflow and internal account processing. For manual requests, contact the site administrator and include identifying account details.
8. Security and Limitations
We apply reasonable technical controls to protect stored data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use of this site is at your own risk.
9. Policy Updates
This notice may be updated periodically to reflect site changes, legal requirements, and operational updates. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
